A Stamper’s Dream

I have a confession. I’ve been a little lost ever since my last local scrapbook store closed. Sure, you can buy supplies at those big box craft stores. And I love a coupon as much as the next bargain shopper. But it’s just not the same. I like an abundance of quality paper and endless packs of ephemera. And stamps… Stamps for every occasion.

Thank goodness for the annual Heirloom Rubber Stamp Show! My mother and I go every year and it’s the next best thing to having those local stores back.

Stamp Show Overview

Held at the Indiana State Fair grounds, there are stampers and paper crafters as far as the eye can see. It feels so good to be among my people! Especially with my favorite crafter by my side- my mother. What can I say? I come by it honestly.

With so much to see, all the make & takes, and the crowds, you have to have a plan. We make one lap and take it all in before going back and getting those must-haves. (The first year we didn’t think things through and I had blown my budget by the fourth booth! Live and learn.) Our semi-annual family craft day is right around the corner, so I knew I was going to want new stamps for my projects. And I was not disappointed!

Stamp Show Haul

Here is my haul! Sorry about the glare, but I was too excited to wait and take the perfect photo. I didn’t stay within budget exactly, but I just couldn’t help myself. There was so much good stuff!

Pink & Main

I had never heard of Pink & Main before, but they had tons of cute stamps. When I laid eyes on this blogger set I just couldn’t resist. I decorate my Happy Planner and these are perfect!

Snail Mail

What card maker doesn’t need these (almost as much as I need a manicure)? I think they’ll look absolutely adorable stamped on the outside of an envelope with a handmade card inside.

Handmade in Indiana

How cute is this? I already have a stamp I use on the back of all my cards, but how could I resist?

It’ll be another year until the Stamp Show comes around again, but this will tide me over until next time, right?

  1. I wish there was stuff like this around me. Well, maybe there is, but I don’t know how to find them. I would love to go to something like this!
